Dr. Dominic D'Agostino on KetoNutrition: From Science to Application
Virta co-founders Dr. Stephen Phinney and Dr. Jeff Volek worked with The Ohio State University’s Food Innovation Center to convene a group of esteemed scientists and researchers to discuss recent progress in the science of low carbohydrate nutrition. The conference was hosted by the OSU Food Innovation Center and the video recordings were sponsored by Virta Health. OSU and Virta have decided to make these videos free and available to the public.Dominic D’Agostino, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at the University of South Florida. He focuses on medical biochemistry, physiology, neuroscience, and neuropharmacology. Dr. D'Agostino is also a Research Scientist at the Institute for Human and Machine Cognition (IHMC). D'Agostino completed his B.S. at Rutgers University and his Ph.D atRobert Wood Johnson Medical School, and he completed a postdoctoral fellowship in neuroscience at Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University.
