Sometimes you simply long for the comforting taste of arepas. Thankfully, with our straightforward low carb arepas, you can enjoy the scrumptious taste of arepas, all while maintaining your low-carb lifestyle! After you make this simple recipe with just a few ingredients, you’ll never want anything else.

Instructions

  1. Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl: almond flour, xanthan gum, baking powder and salt.
  2. Combine all the wet ingredients in a different bowl: cream cheese, butter, egg. Mix and knead to form a dough.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the bowl with dry ingredients and mix them with a fork or spatula. The dough is going to be sticky.
