Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cut bell peppers in half and remove seeds and ribs.
- Place peppers in a microwave-safe dish, skin side up.
- Add a tablespoon of water to the dish, cover, and microwave for 2 minutes.
- Drain any excess liquid.
- Using a large skillet, cook turkey over medium-high heat. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Add mushrooms to the same skillet and cook until liquid from the mushrooms seeps out.
- Add the cooked turkey back to the skillet and combine. Turn off heat.
- Stir in marinara sauce and garlic powder.
- Place peppers in a baking dish and portion the meat mixture amongst the four pepper halves.
- Top peppers with cheese and pepperoni.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese becomes melted and peppers reach desired texture.
