Can Type 2 diabetes be reversed?

Do I have to pay anything for Virta?

No. When Virta is a fully covered benefit by your employer, you pay nothing. There are no co-pays. From the supplies to the expert medical care and health coaching, you get it all at no cost to you.

What do I get when I enroll for diabetes reversal?

Patients enrolled in Virta's type 2 diabetes reversal offering receive all the supplies they need to be successful, including a connected scale, glucose and ketone meter and strips, and access to all of Virta's resources through an easy to use smartphone application.

Virta patients are also assigned a dedicated care team who guides patients on their journey to better health.

Do I need a referral from my doctor to start Virta?

No referral is needed. Your Virta medical provider will become your diabetes reversal specialist and will communicate with your local medical team as needed to ensure continuity of care.
