Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 1 quart casserole dish.
- In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter and saute the onions just until wilted.
- Layer ⅓ of the turnips on the bottom of the casserole dish; top with ⅓ of the onions; sprinkle 2 tsp almond flour along with ⅓ tsp salt, and ⅛ tsp pepper.
- Dollop 1 Tablespoon butter over dish. Repeat twice, for a total of 3 layers.
- Pour cream over turnips.
- Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Remove cover and bake for an additional 30-45 minutes or until turnips are tender and bubbly.
